The  loads  under the links for Shotgun Hand Gun and Long Gun are those I have found on Peter J Starley website and are generally regarded as the right load for muzzle loading firearms in good condition. If you are unsure if your firearm is in good condition have it checked by a competent gunsmith.  If these loads are greater than the Proof Service Loads do not use them, the proof service load should never be exceeded.
