Universal Annealing cup

This annealing cup is used in conjunction with a butane blowlamp and a cordless electric drill. The cup is put in the cordless drill and  the case is put in side the cup, the case is then rotated and the blowlamp flame is applied to the neck of the case. As soon as any colour change is noticed the flame is removed,  the case is tipped out  and allowed to cool. this is repeated for each case. Do not allow the case to become red hot as it will ruin the case.  Case not included.£20.00 Each

I can supply an annealing cup suitable for annealing Martini Henry and Snider cases that have been reformed from Magtec 24 Gauge shotgun shells. If you want one for Bertram cases which have a slightly larger base let me know and i can enlarge to fit.

Can be used for other size cases as well

Mapp Gas pencil flame torch for annealing

The  torch runs on either butane or mapp gas cylinders which are available in most DIY stores or from Amazon or below if collecting.

Operation is simple, after connecting the torch with gas tank,  turn on the gas valve and ignite the map gas torch head with lighter. The torch is light and small, which makes suitable for annealing brass cases either manually or with an annealing machine. £20.00

Extension hose

When using the standard arrangement of a gas torch with the gas cylinder attached the annealer is often out of balance and requires something to support the weight of the bottle. This is often makeshift and can lead to accidents.

This 1.5 meter extension hose  goes from the gas torch in the annealer to the  gas cylinder and allows the cylinder to be stood upright and out of the way. As the bottle the heavy  bottle has been replaced by a lightweight hose the balance problem goes away. This makes for a much safer working environment. £19.00

Mapp gas (collection only)

One cylinder of mapp gas for use with above torch or similar.

Makes will vary £15.00

AGS Mk 3 Compatible Annealer Stand

The AGS compatible Annealing stand Is not needed but is certainly wanted, when using the Brass catching trays as shown below. The stand sits under the AGS annealer and via the adjustable back stop makes sure you don't slide the tray under the annealer too far.  £8.00

AGS Mk 2 Compatible Annealer Stand

This stand fits under the AGS MK2 annealer and raises the height by 40 mm.

The stand is adjustable in width to ensure a perfect fit and has an adjustable stop so a tray to catch the brass will always be in the perfect place. £12.00

Aluminium Annealer Tray compatible with  AGS Mk 2 and Mk 3 (417mm long)

AGS Compatible Aluminium  Annealer tray for collecting hot brass cases. £20.00

The tray fits under the MK2 with the riser stand shown above. It will fit under the AGS MK 3 with or without a stand (Make sure you order the correct riser for your annealer)

The tray has a case kicker installed to stop the cases landing on their bases and blocking the next case. The tray will need to be placed with the kicker under the drop hole and can be adjusted  to provide the optimal kick . The kicker and base of the tray is covered in a piece of cotton bases material, this can be replaced if it should ever wear out with any cotton based such as denim. The kicker is made of a thermo plastic so must never be used without a covering of heat resistant material.

When the cases start to form a log jam at the kicker end of of the tray, it is recommended that the cases are moved to the other end of the tray with something like a paint scraper as they will be hot and allowed to cool naturally

The tray is  417mm long by  100mm wide by  60mm high so it can accommodate a useful number of  the larger rifle cases as well as being more than adequate for pistol rounds. The end of the tray can also be removed for ease of emptying without disturbing the annealer if required.
